ABOUT YOUR APOSTOLATE

Real Presence Radio is a lay apostolate working in the Diocese of Fargo and the Diocese of Crookston, governed by the Board of Directors of Real Presence Radio. We are listener supported and a registered 501 (c) (3) charity. Real Presence Radio is dedicated to answering the call of John Paul the Great for a New Evangelization by broadcasting the Truths and Traditions of the Catholic Church on AM 1370, 24hrs per day, seven days per week!

In the year 2000, a group of individuals from the Diocese of Fargo decided to combine their time and talents to promote and implement a lay Catholic broadcasting ministry. This was the first step of realizing the vision of bringing Catholic Radio to the population of the Diocese of Fargo and the Diocese of Crookston on a 7-day per week, 24-hour basis.

On November 6, 2004, Real Presence Radio purchased and began operation of AM 1370 KWTL in Grand Forks, ND. The Board chose KWTL as a reminder that Jesus Christ is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life”( John 14:6).

Recognizing that each of us are called to know, understand, and share our faith, everyone involved with supporting KWTL is grateful to God for the apostolate as an extraordinary gift that we receive anew each day. We know this by the steady increase in feedback from listeners through letters of encouragement and financial support.

KWTL is now in its fourth year of broadcasting Christian truth and is one of about 125 Catholic Radio stations in the U.S. Our programming is distinctively Catholic by providing a mix of devotionals, prayers, call-in programs, the daily Mass, and both local and national programs concerning the Catholic Faith. The programming is designed to communicate Church teaching as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and by the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. We will always promote fidelity to and communion with the Holy Father and the bishops in union with him.

Our mission is to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and share His eternal truth, reaching out to all people in the Diocese of Fargo and the Diocese of Crookston through the medium of radio.
